Tianjun Li (CN/FI), also known as Timjune, is a Finland-based interdisciplinary artist and musician working across lens-based medium, voice, and performance. Through an expansive four-octave vocal range and synesthetic perception, Li transforms the human body into an acoustic medium channeling imagined dialogues between human and more-than-human worlds.
Currently an artist-in-residence at USF Verftet, Li presents a special site-responsive performance by the sea, which draws from ongoing long-term works centered on migration, birdsong, whale calls, islandness, and communal singing practices. The performance is presented as an evolving vocal landscape shaped by wind, memory, distance, and listening.
